EYFS Teaching Assistant.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled teaching assistant to work in EYFS and KS 1. Candidates must show warmth & care to develop positive relationships with children and have energy and a sense of fun to inspire learning. Duties include:
To be resourceful, reliable and creative in setting up the outside /inside areas on a daily basis.
Support learning & play for in/out provision.
Assist children with self-care and at lunchtimes.
Liaise with Nursery lead & EYFS teacher.
Working hours: 8.45am-3.15pm, 30 min lunchbreak. Mon-Fri term time only.
Qualifications:- Relevant NVQ level 2 or equivalent; English and Maths to GCSE grade 4 or above, or equivalent.
Probationary period: 6 months (post may be extended after July subject to budget)

Midday Supervisor PG No. 4024
Salary PCD 3 £9.62 per hour; £18562 F/T.
Supervisor required:- , 11.30am-1.15pm
PLEASE NOTE THIS POST REQUIRES AN ENHANCED DBS CHECK AS PART OF OUR SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN PROCEDURES.
Job purpose:- to ensure children have a happy & safe lunchtime break.
Supervision and control of pupils, including:
Ensuring the supervision of pupils at appropriate times and organising the effective transfer of responsibilities for pupils’ welfare between midday supervisory staff and teachers
Ensuring that all minor problems are dealt with swiftly and effectively, reporting any persistent unacceptable behaviour or more serious breaches of discipline to a senior member of the teaching staff. Reporting any emergency or serious incident to the Headteacher immediately
Dealing with minor accidents and securing first aid assistance for these and for serious incidents in accordance with the procedure established at the school
Ensuring that health and safety practices and procedures affecting pupils are maintained during the midday break
Assisting where necessary in ensuring that persons on the premises who are not pupils or staff are authorised and appropriately dealt with (in accordance with guidance issued from time to time)
Liaising with kitchen/dining room staff to ensure smooth meal service. Supervising and assisting pupils with their food where necessary.
Setting up and clearing away tables in the dining room if required
2. Child protection
To have due regard for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and to follow child protection procedures.
3. Promote Healthy Eating
Actively promote the school meals service to pupils to increase awareness of healthy eating and the uptake of healthy school meals.
